Hey I was just wondering if anyone has had this same problem, I have an '09 Mustang with 14,000+ miles (almost literally all highway) and just recently I've had a horrible metal on metal sounding screech in my brake rotor, I'm honestly hoping that I have something stuck in between my brake pad and rotor but I don't believe that is the reason, the screech only happens at low speeds and its not constant, it also seems to choose when to screech, I've seen and heard a lot of problems with cars and never something like this, I've also taken the wheel off and checked the rotor I just didn't have my tools with me at the time to take the caliper off, worst case scenario I can think of is a warped rotor but that also doesn't seem likely to me, anyone know about the aluminum heat shield behind the rotors and if those can tend to bend and rub, also if that's the case whats the best way to fix it, I've taken it to the Ford house (considering I'm still in warranty) and they just ran me around in circles about it...from one mustang guy to others I need some advice :flag:

I've got 15,000 miles and have started noticing the same thing: low speed brake squeal. I'm wondering if its moisture/dew. I'm going to pay more attention to the time of day it happens (morning dew,etc...).
