putting a new tranny, exhaust, driveshaft, valve covers on mine, went to a C4 setup and i decided to black out my motor somewhat. and pullin my brothers 454 out of his camaro. LME put a bad rod, piston height combo in his motor (along with others) and it burns oil and leaks it into the intake like crazy. soo sending it off to in houston to work it over and make it a nitrous motor. last time we had it on the dyno it made 550/536. last week we put it on the dyno again ( this time with an open cutout and a new, bigger Y pipe.) it should have made 580ish with the cut out open but it made 505. put new plugs in it and closed the cut out and it made 495, thats 55 HP down. so we pulled it out. mine should be done on the weekend. here are some pics.

buyin some black fuel line and fittings this week them i will get an updated picture of what the motor looks like with all the black. contemplating painting my intake and water pump black but i just dont know..... should be done by the weekend and i will hopefully have some nitrous passes under my belt in 2 weeks.

here are some pictures of my brothers car and tear down. a little background info, its a 454 LSX motor, Fab 9 inch rear, 6 speed, pretty small cam, fast intake, kooks exhaust, blah blah. made 550/536 RWHP on motor.

thanks. actually we never raced oddly, either his car was down or mine was, and when we had both of them running we just never did. when he gets it back together we will race, if i lose on motor then ill spray ll over him :)

pair of badass cars!

thanks

what is yours stroked to? is that a 351?what wheels are yours? the motor looks good looks like mine........well sorta same idea with blacking everything out. peace

its a 408. they are bogart P1 drag stars. ya im tryin to black out some stuff but i dont know how far i wanna go. yours looks super good.

john:p

i love your car man, good luck with fotm ill be voting for you

thanks man, hopefully this month ill win lol

That notch is ****ing amazing. The camaro is badass too. I hope he puts a bigger cam in it this time and let it breathe. That thing should rip. Personally I would like it more drag inspired like your car. With traction, a little weight reduction and a good driver his car COULD go pretty easy 9s on motor. lsx>*

Nice rides. Your notch looks mean as hell.
