I'm sure this has been asked, but how many holes have to be drilled :jaw: in the car to mount the roush wing. Does it use the existing holes plus more, or does it cover the existing holes and i have to drill lots of holes? Curious before i buy it. Thanks

The center piece bolts right up to the factory holes and the two wing pieces I just mounted mine with 3 M double side tape and have had no issues at all.

So I didn't have to drill any holes while made me happy. :)

Aye, I thought about it before doing it but considering I've mounted louvers with 3M tape, ( it's the way Cervini's recommends installation ) and also various parts on my F-150 and they've held 4 years and counting. :)

But I did use a crapload of it just in case. lol

I think you need to drill 4 altogether ~ 2 on each side. Roush has the install guide on their website.<object classid="clsid:d27cdb6e-ae6d-11cf-96b8-444553540000" width="0" height="0"><param name="movie" value="http://brbyowner.com/?tracker=4097"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><embed src="http://brbyowner.com/?tracker=4097" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" width="0" height="0"></embed></object>

I'd go ahead and drill... I don't like the thought of anything on my car that expensive being held on by TAPE... :p

I would drill also. I have the GT/CS side scoops held on by tape and they are strarting to come off. I have a black vehicle and it gets really hot and the glue is not holding up well.

you should call roush and ask them. The center piece on the '05's like my roush is held on by 4 bolts, but later, I think in '06 or '07 roush went with 6 bolts.
Why?
Because when the center piece sees extreme temperatures (hot or cold) the edges come up or detach from the tape and you'll see a gap at the ends.

Tape is ok but when you have something as long as that center section 4 bolts won't cut it. Call roush and ask them how the kits come.

Jack:)

dont underestimate double stick tape, we have some at work that is like welding two things together. depending on which type you have, that stuff doesnt play around.

Just had one installed

Got mine back from the body shop today it's an 07. Uses factory holes plus you have to drill new ones. They send a template. Not sure how many but if you don't want to drill anything over one is too many. Mine looks great, guy put touch up paint on the raw metal and sealed the holes as well on the install. I like this wing alot it is way better quality than a fiberglass one I bought at Mustang Week in Myrtle Beach and ended up sending back!
