Looking for recommendations on a short throw shifter. What I want is a buttery smooth shifter. Trying to get away from the notchy feel of the stock shifter. I have heard good things about MGW.

Any good recommendations?

I have a hurst Billet, and am very happy with it. Though, I second that MGW is regarded as the best. (never felt one)

If your looking for buttery shifts. You may want to change your transmission oil. I put in Royal Purple Sychromax and it improved the feel. I have also heard great things about Redline's MTL, though not sure if that works in our transmission.

after002.jpg +1 on MGW, had the FRPP short throw and changed it out.

MGW is the smoothest shifter out there, hands down. Anything you get from them is made of top shelf materials. Anything they sell in chrome is triple chrome plated. All bolts and hardware is either stainless steel, billet, and anodized. Their shifter is the only one available that strays away from the norm in design. You won't regret it, worth every dime.

I had the Steeda Triax in my car for about a year. I hated it. Hitting 3rd gear was a chore and the shifter buzzed just to name 2 of the problems. I switched to the MGW and never looked back. It took me several months to let my guard down and just trust the new shifter. That's how screwed up the Triax had me at 490rwhp.
