Both of them will need some work before they fit?

I bought a repop for $35 and took it to a buddy that welds, he cut out the size opening I wanted (just outside the license plate surround) made up a template and cut it out of some scrap steel of the same gauge and welded it in. In hindsight I wish we would have cut it at an angle so it would slope up to meet the top edge of the front frame rail so you wouldn't see it and the air would be pushed up to the coolers/radiator. Otherwise I really like the way it looks, I've got a small block so I wanted a smaller opening like the GT350's had I believe and not something too large.
Disregard the driving lights, I'm moving them to the grill as they're too large for my small opening and will block most of the airflow but that's the only pic I have of the valence on the car.

Of the 2 you have pictured I'd prefer the top one just because it has crisper edges like the rest of the car, the bottom one looks 'bubbled' to me. JMO

i would like the first one better if the chin spoiler wasnt so massive...I cant stand the huge chin spoilers...I'm going to go with a lower cutout on the stock valance thats wide enough to match the upper grill....I just dont like the super narrow openings...even on shelbys they look like someone just cut a hole in the valance...they look better with bumpers

p.s. i just now notice in your first shot you had already cut the lip down, so it gets my vote

It is a Maier apron modified. If I use it I will still make it smaller and I will have to blend it into the fenders on the side. This is what it looked like before we cut cut it.

I thought it look familiar. I've got a Maier valance that accepts a bumper, but the final product hasn't been installed on my car. You can't tell from these pics, but the body shop did a nice job blending the valance into the front fenders.

Here are a couple of pics...

I was going to do the same to mine but wasn't sure how it would look. Anything looks better than that goatee Maier put on there. It is too horizontal hence wouldn't do much in the way of aero, plus it just looks weird. It might've been cool in the 70s which is probably about how old their designs are.
