c4 lost second gear

i was winding it out in first and hit second when my shift light went on but nothing happened,no second gear.also can't get it into park.nursed it home and checked the cable because the shifter was hard to get it in any gear.its not the cable.i have a b&m competition shifter and this is in a 90 lx 347 stroker with the c4, which was built handle the power.any ideas?.i'm hoping its a servo or something but auto transmissions are a mystery to me.i hope someones got an inexpensive fix!a PA trans is around $1800 which i don't have right now.help!!!!

spend a $100 on an estimate...try art car, Freddie brown, and some others...hopefully nothing too bad...

i decided to remove the valve body myself and do some air checks and as i removed it some parts fell out and they were the ends for the anchors on the intermediate band.it's wasted and i guess its time for a new trans.i'll be getting the pa c4 super comp.
