Caliper interchange

Hello my late model brethren. I normally hang out in the classic section, but I need some info on late model parts. Specifically, are the calipers on the GT aluminum? Are they interchangeable with PBR calipers? Do the baskets have a 5.092 c to c spacing?

Thanks in advance for any help you can give!

The 94 cobra PBR caliper cannot be used on a S197 The space between the two mounting holes is greater on the S197. Have seen brackets to allow this but cant remember who sells them off hand.

 Yes patience my friend. Since we are late model, not all questions have been asked of the gearheads yet :p

As to this question... Let me measure that up and see. Is the 5" and change the numbers for the mounting hole centers? And how much space do you need for the rotor, piston and pads? Want to make sure...

thanks to everyone for the replies! I was just tweaking you guys to get a response, no offense intended:D

I was hoping the mounting holes were the same so I could use take-off GT calipers as part of a kit which i've already designed to use the C5 PBR caliper (for a 1.25" rotor). I would only use them if they were aluminum, but of course, if the mounting lugs are wider, I'd have to design a new mounting bracket.
