Took the ole' daily driver out to the track a few weekends ago for the shakedown runs since adding a meth kit.

Dyno video 476/444tq @ 6000 476hp / 444tq @ 15.5psi / 6000rpm on Flickr - Photo Sharing!

Track nite was just over 1800' density altitude. Busy night so I only got two runs, first was spin fest, second run looking at the datalogs I launched and went half throttle until 45mph then it was to the floor.

1.79 60ft; 11.666 @ 119.11

I've got quite a bit left in the 60ft and a tad more on the topend as I was nicking my spark retard which yanked about 5* of timing for noticeable slow down.

I expect some lower 11s once I go through the suspension and replace the poly bushings I keep breaking that keep me from doing a proper burnout and launch. High, high 10s quite possible once this summer heat is gone. I've got the tune fairly safe for the Louisiana heat.

Combo is:
1995 full weight convertible
Stock 151,000 mile shortblock
S-trim 3.15 pulley ~16psi
Mac longtubes, prochamber, axleback
Trickflow heads
Ported Cobra intake/70mm TB
Powerpipe
AIS methanol kit
4R70W
CircleD 3200 Multidisk converter
3.73 Gear/31 Spline
ET Streets
60lb injector/SCT2400 MAF/2 255lph pumps

nice numbers, posts like this make me rethink about wanting to go with the 351 swap. and the fact that its a stock block with that many miles, full weight and an automatic is even more impressive. keep up the good work man.

Oh man, now youve done it! Better knock on some wood man.

I keep saying that... it keeps taking a beating EVERY single day. I really think a good tune and maintenance goes a LOOONG way towards keeping a motor together. They won't stand up to much if any detonation with high cylinder pressures but keep things on the up and up and you'll be happy!

When this motor is done the ante is going up in the form of a larger displacement aftermarket block, custom cam and more boost but still daily driver status. :D

Stock kit lower pulley. Spraying meth before and after the supercharger - spraying before gives about a 2psi increase.

Peak boost measured around 6300rpm on the dyno. On a cold day it's pegged the SCT BA2400 meter. :D

Also running stock cam which doesn't bleed off boost like a cam with overlap will.
