went home for the weekend to install my magnapacks in my brothers garage and decided to overnight some 4.10's and install them while i was home. My 2010 GT came with 3.31's from the factory and these 4.10's really woke up this car. I thought that it would affect my highway RPM but it wasnt as bad as expected. Only 2,500 at 75 and about 2,800 at 80 is not bad. I drove it all the way from New Hampshire to Maryland 2 days after the install and gas mileage was not bad. The only issue that i have now the the speedometer. Its off by about 15-20 MPH and racking up miles fast. Does anyone know if a tuner can adjust the speedo?

If anyone is thinking of doing rear gears go for the 4.10's you will not be disapointed.

The tuner will fix that no problem, in less than 5 min, it's really no chore. I'm jealous about the 4.10s though...I had them in my 05, bought it with 3.55s and even that jump in gear really woke her up. Now I want gears... :D

Should i go with a 3.73?how much would the dealer charge?
4.10 4.10 4.10!!! :nice: 3.73's are great, but why get those when 4.10's are righttt there? Hell, any gear in my 5.0 would be great, considering the 2.73 stock gear is really holding me back. :rlaugh: If I take my first gear to redline, I'm at around 45mph... That's ridiculous.

go with the 4.10's i did 3.73's in my old gt and they were good but the 4.10's are awesome. like i said before i have 4.10 in my 2010 gt and it didnt hurt my gass mileage too much. At 75 it was only turning 2,500. Go with the 4.10's they dont cost any more then 3.73.

ive never had gears done at the dealer but im guessing somewhere between 600-800 for an install. But make sure you get it done somewhere you trust and dont try and do it yourself. They have to be set between 6 and 10 thousandths of an inch and if they are off then it will not be pretty. So it is worth the money to have it done right, and you wont regret the 4.10's.
