Well started up my 1998 mustang gt with the D1 finally all installed (still stock fuel pump, just staying out of boost until I install my external fuel pump tonight) and it sounded awesome. I pulled a crap ton of timing and dumped a bunch of fuel in with my diablosport, just to be on the safe side. Already had haters yelling at me from the sidewalk saying my car isn't ****.:nonono: Jealous:lol: So I drove it to my GF's grandma's anniversary party (60 years wow!!) which is only half mile away to cruise a little bit. I came out to close the windows on the stang and when I turn the key on for power I hear a hissing from the engine so go to investigate. All I see is fuel pissing out the front bumper, so I run and unplug the fuel shutoff in the trunk. To make a long story short I had to get towed home:nonono: first time out and found one of my fuel rail lines was cracked:nonono:. Anyone use professional products fuel rail line kit.

I purchased it today and won't be to my house till next Friday and just wanted to get some hopefully positive feedback because I already ordered them.

Yeah, it sounds like a stock fuel rail cracked the way he was wording it.

But no, in something with regards to fuel I would not use a PP part. Made in China does not sit will with me when it could potentially burn my car down.

Well to late now:nonono: I just figured Anderson sold the stuff so must not be that bad. We will have to see I guess:shrug:

I imagine you won't have any problems with them. I didn't mean to make it seem like they will indefinitely break and cause your car to burn down, lol.

Just personally I would have chosen a different brand.

That's too bad man. I thought a alot about putting PP's on my car for my build but did some looking around and found out it wasnt worth it. I do have an extra pair of new CPR's here if you them for $100 shipped - but either way I wouldn't want to use those PP's.

The pro products fuel rails are complete garbage. Almost every fitting leaked. I had them welded and that helped. Then the brackets didn't hold the rails well and they would flex. This caused the o rings to wear out. Then the bung where the frps mounted started leaking.

I kept calling them and bitching, and they finally replaced them. When the new kit showed up I sold them.

Garbage...I had a set, put them on and started leaking right off the bat.....could not get them to seal at all...Maybe you will have better luck

Dido I had nothing but problems tying to install them. First they sent the wrong year rails I got the 96'-98' I think The ones "with out" the fuelpress. reg. sensor? told them it's an "02" but once I putting them on just turned key on they started leaking in multipule spots? All on the fuel rails out the injectors was a mess trying to get them tightened up? But with about $75 or more in quality fittings all I ended up useing was the rails an the brackets. Which they do suck also. I have had to keep checking an making sure they aren't leaking. Came out to my garage opened the door an the smell of gas hit me hard. Popped the hood an turned the key an sure nuff leaky injector in the back:notnice: Had to readjust the rails to stop leaking? Just a pain. Sure not worth the hasel? Better luck to the next guy:nice:
