Shifter info

Hey guys,
I got a Pro5.0 shifter in my 2006 GT. I want to keep the actual base of the Pro5.0 shifter, but want to install a hurst shift arm/knob. Couple of questions:

1. Will the shift arm bolt onto the pro5.0 shifter base?
2. Do the arms come in multiple colors? Silver, black, etc
3. What about the shift knob colors?
4. Where can I get the arm/knob from online?

Thanks guys!
Nick

Hey, I have the set-up that you're looking at doing.

1. Yes they will bolt-up. However, the holes that were in my Hurst handle were a bit larger that the allen bolts themselves. I found a plastic dowel that was a little larger that the hole in the handle, tapped it in, then drilled out the proper sized holes for the allen bolts. May not of been necessary, but I thought it would avoid coming loose in the future.

2. Not sure, a call to Hurst would probably answer your question.

3. I have seen the Shifter Knobs in White and Black.

4. I would contact Hurst and tell them what you want. I've been to their website before and say lots of different styles of shift arms available.

Let me know if you want any pictures, as I can try to get these for you.

I didn't need a new boot as I have a rubber bushing/grommet that goes on the boot and around the handle. There is a number on it, 9353, which may help. Here's a link to their website that shows different options. It doesn't specifically callout the handle and grommet, but I think if you called them, they would be able to figure it out.

BILLET/PLUS SHIFTER

Anyway, here is a picture of the shifter in my car (Pro-5.0 Shifter and Hurst Handle/Knob)
