As mention previously in another thread, I just had installed the Roush catback system on my GT and I am finding the drone very bothersome to me. Probably because I must have a hearing problem. But anyway the drone is bad at 2000 rpm. At idle it is fine and like at 60 mph at 1500 rpm it is fine. But driving around 40 I am topicly around 2000.
I have made 3 videos of the Mustang. The first is when the Mustang was stock exhaust and I compared it to my Z28. The second video is the Roush installed from outside in the driveway. The third one is me driving around a little at various speeds and rpms. If Youtube didn't totaly compress and distort the video (it was long), you can plainly hear the drone at various times. At idle, downshifting, flooring it, the Roush sounds great. Its the steady state sound that is effecting my ears.
