BulletProof Solution?

I like the 408 but I am trying to stay within a certain budget, a turnkey 347 is about $7200 which still leaves me some room to aqquire things such as exhaust, gears, clutch, injectors/pump, MAF, hardware, etc... Since the coupe is bone stock except for flowmasters and an air filter.

Would a 255lph and 30pounders be enough? With the rest of the fuel system being stock...

DID ANYONE MENTION GOING WITH A 408??? I'LL KEEP TYPING IN CAPS CAUSE IM NOT SURE IF YOU LISTENING. IF YOU BUILD A 408, IT WONT COST YOU MUCH MORE THAN A 347 AND IT WILL SURPASS YOUR GOALS EASILY. I WISH I BUILT A 408/427. BUT STUPID PEOPLE TALKED ME OUT OF IT.

My car is just about what you described in the first post, but lets remember one thing here, its not gonna be fun driving a low 11 second fox body with a windsor every day. It sounds real cool and glamorus to say that, but when you have to listen to your 3'' exhaust all the time, and on 3 hour trips your ears bleed(this litterally happened to me). Its not that fun. I love the car, dont get me wrong, but would i wanna drive it evey day? HELL NO. but i also dont hesitate to drive it 45 minutes to work in the AM or drive 1.5 hours to the track.

Put the wallet/credit card down and dont rush into anything right away. Really plan this out.

And one more thing not one person has thought about weight here. If you wanna stay N/A and go fast i hope the car is light.
