Unless you need the nut, try using a cutoff wheel and cutting it in half. if you don't have a cutoff wheel, you could heat it up with a torch, a small propane one should work, and then hit it with a hammer and try to break it off. If you do need the nut, try shaving down 2 opposite sides of the threaded shaft the nut tightens onto into a flat surface and then use an open ended wrench to hold the shaft and try to turn the nut. Thats about all I have for ya. Hope this helps and works for ya.

thanks i got it today after some choice words and a torch it finally came off. then i couldnt get the ball joint and threads out of the spindle.the guy at orielys gave me a ball joint puller but it was to wide i went back plenty "happy" and a more experienced guy told me a tie rod puller should work. and he was right an hour later i was done

grease those ball joints

after reading the post & for you other guys use a needle injector & push some grease into the ungreaseabble fitting every 6 months after getting some years ago I grease the ball joint & she has been good its a 99 gt I had a 90 & the ball joint let go right infront of my house had it towed & had new ball joints installed ......... bad idea when car builders went to non greasable parts
