Can't believe after 7 years, I just posted my baby in the classifieds. :(

Even though I'm forced to part with my beloved '92, I'm lucky that I'm nowhere near leaving 'stangs in general. Buying my car led me to many new friends, and eventually I was fortunate enough to start a small business whose idea sprang from my 5.0.

Thanks to so many here at Stangnet for the friendship, help, encouragement, props, and laughs. It's been cool sharing my work, and helping others on here do their own.

So why am I excited?

My next project is the reason my 92 must go. I've found something that fits my own "weirdness", and I've got to build it. My intent is to take a 1995 BMW M3 and give it nice, pavement ripping 347!!! :jaw:

If there's interest, I can post up the build stuff over here somewhere.

Sad to hear you had to part with the '92 but sounds like you had a great time with her. The new project sounds pretty crazy, I would like to see a build thread on it. wish you luck on the new project :nice:

Yes, the 92 will leave me with tons of great memories (and luckily, a few gigs of photos!).

I went nuts when I found out that a 5.0 to E36 BMW swap could be done. I knew some guys were doing LS swaps, but that's not my bag, baby! :rlaugh:

To acheive it, you have to dump the headers forward and make some custom exhaust piping. I'm going to use a built T5. About 17 wires have to be spliced from the A9L to the BMW computer. Retains ABS, all gauges, etc. Two motor mounts and a tranny crossmember have to be built (or bought, if I get lazy).

Roller coaster of emotions! I'm ***sick*** about the 92 leaving, but think this new project can be a lot of fun.
