$1,500

Yes it says 6 speed but its a 5. Car looks great, interior clean, all new rad hoses, carb looks new, dist looks new, it doesnt leak a drop of anything, from what i saw. Now it has a hesitation problem owner says it is from the carb not being tuned but I'm not sure i've never had to deal with a carb in my life. Any advice or assistance is much appreciated! ofcourse i'll try and talk him down to 1,100 or something ..

also would missing the air intake pipes on each side contribute to the hesitation? I notice on completely stock 84s there is a smaller hose on top of the intake hose that leads somewhere to the back..

No, your hesitation problem is probably from a bad accelerator pump which is carb related. When you press the gas on a carbed car there is a little pump that shoots fuel down the venturis to add fuel to the increase in air flow to accelerate the engine. That hose is probably the PCV hose that hooks into the air cleaner from a hole in the back of the intake to suck out the ventilation from the crankcase instead of it just going into the atmosphere. For 1500 you can't go wrong with that thing! I wouldn't even try talking him down from that!!!
