I don't want to put in anything that will screw with the stock computer.
A statement such as that
and
If you're talking about doing a NA combo
You don't have much of a chance for making any real power
For 300rwhp or above NA
Ya gotta move some air :Word:
OEM stuff just can't cut the mustard in that area
and
Without optimizing the pcm
Most combos I've seen with such a build have been closer to
250 than 300
Please don't think I'm here to be a spoiler or rain all over your parade
I am just trying to have you see what others have done which will
give you an idea of reality
Food for thought
Ever see that Big Ole Thread about making 300 with p heads
If it was easy to do it
There would not be such a thread with so many
searching for a way to make it happen
I could be wrong or forgotten the exact limit but
Tom Moss is a good guy who knows a good bit about OEM stuff
Seems like he says on his site 265 is about it when using OEM stuff
Again ... If I'm mistaken ... Someone put up the correct values
Also ... I've seen more that a few Aluminum aftermarket head based
h/c/i combos with aftermarket intakes and aftermarket (not alphabet)
cams be in the 270 to 280 range because they were trying to
tune with fuel pressure and dizzy twisting.
How much power are you expecting
