considering you can get 05-06 Stangs for $13-14k o ebay i wouldnt even bother with those fools

He asked about a 2004 GT, not an 05-06. Did you even consider that maybe he doesn't like the styling of the 05-06? And how did you come to the conclusion that the people at Morrissey Motor Co are "fools"? "Maybe you should have thought about that before you decided to insert your opinion."

and you can get an 03-04 Mach 1 on ebay for $12-15k depending on the miles really they seem to be trying to mess you over, I would not deal with people like that period.

"Your opinion of what he does with his money is not your concern, well unless you are buying the car...which last I checked you aren't. What he does with HIS money is totally up to him and has no impact on you."

"I would also tell you not to try to make automotive decisions for others when you have ZERO clue what other models of Mustangs they like, at the end of the day that is my point, nobody asked for other car advice"

And, once again, you have arbitrarily come to the conclusion that these folks are "trying to mess you over" (what the hell is that anyway?). You have made the determination that you "would not deal with people like that" because of the asking price of one car?

Glad you are one of the few who listened to us when we offered our opinions. Looking back i wish i would have waited for a Mach.

These quotes in bold italic font above, although not 100% verbatim as I had to slightly adjust to fit this particular thread, (but the gist of each quote is spot on), are from your thread regarding "How to celebrate paying the Mustang off." See, the knife cuts both ways doesn't it Jared? It's amazing how, in your thread, you took public pot shots at me for offering any sort of unsolicited advice, and then asked the moderators to close the thread. What a :taco: move. I was going to let this go, as I stated in my PM to you, but after seeing that you are offering eerily similar unsolicited advice, I couldn't remain silent. Is there some sort of double standard? Or are you just embarrassed because you have no job, had declared bankruptcy recently and live in a rented box? Obviously money (or your lack of) is a sensitive subject for you. I suggest that you "should have thought about that before you decided to insert your opinion."

Its really just time to grow up. You already sent me a PM about your thoughts and concerns. Now you literally destroy a perfectly good thread. It's time to put your big boy panties on and grow up.

Your accusations have been noted, but it's time for you to let it go. I am not even interested in responding to various statements you have made. I stress again that your advice is unsolicited.

The original poster in this thread asked for opinions on a car he was thinking about buying. I did not seek his financial history or living conditions, I gave him my opinion. Frankly its people like you that should just be :ban: and if the moderators see that it is appropriate they can ban BOTH of us for 30 days or however long they feel is suitable because you obviously need a cooling down period. None of this is personal for me, so do yourself and the rest of us a favor and :Zip2: instead of taking this thread and who knows how many more :OT: before your ego is stroked back into a suitable condition. I know my past history much better than you and I know my current situation much better than you.

While I hate to say this, the thread is now worthless, and it should probably be :lock: by a moderator. If a ban is in my future than fine, its how things go i guess. It's a shame this individual had to bring this thread all the way down to his level...God Bless America...:flag:

How did I destroy this thread? If you would have answered his questions rather than giving unsolicited opinions then maybe it wouldn't be destoyed. (And if you don't like my posts, simply skip over em - WTF? I don't see how you determine that this thread is now worthless because of me) In retrospect you should have manned up and kept the other thread going, but you decided to get the last word, the last digs, your last jabs at me, then run off and say, "Close this thread" and "Grow up." This coming from an 29 year old who rents a box, is unemployed and has already declared bankruptcy. With such statements as:

"buying a house with other debt is the definition of stupid"
Then there are an awful lot of stupid people in this world.

"A burnout will be done...on $330 Goodyear F1s...I must be out of my mind, I will try to find a place to do it and film it and post it for you guys."
Talk about stupid.

"I decided a year or so ago to be a big boy"
- at 28 years old? About damn time.

"I intend to pay all my bills, not get into a mortgage I can't afford and try to make you guys foot the bill." Then why did you declare bankruptcy?

Easy Guys!!! I was just simply posting on a forum asking a simpe question not bringing up other's historys of debt!! Im sorry to hear everyone is in such bad moods but dang!! This is off topic of ur guys's e-fight but me and the g/f (wife) have settled well she settled this, she says buy once and buy right. I asked what she meant, she goes for 12 u can have a gt, 15 u can have a mach and for 18-20 u can have a cobra, which one will make u the happiest, i said 04 cobra of course, she says well uk wat needs to be done now.
So i hate to say this but the conclusion is that in april or march im gonna b needin a termi guys.... das Ende Geshichte

You have a good gf/wife if she has that attitude towards it. You will enjoy the Cobra, and have a target on your back! Are you looking for a stock car or a fully modded car or between? I know you didn't ask my opinion, but I think a stock car is a good starting point for the Cobra particularly because you will know most if not all the history of the car.

We are looking for an unmodded 03-04 cobra, also only mod done to it (if i found one at a good price and color i liked and i thought it was the right one) would be a CAI but thats it i dont wanna kenne bell on it yet i wanna enjoy wat 400 hp actually feels like before i get carried away but after four year of paying it off, watch out world here come the mods!

I say it's too high. My granddad just acquired a 2004 Mach 1 with 20,000, yes 20000, miles, in showroom condition. I don't actually know exactly how much he paid for it, but they were asking 13,000 (private seller), and I know he didn't pay that much for it.

If you have the money, and really want it, I guess so. But me personally, I wouldn't pay more than 11 or so for a low mileage new edge GT.
