How much ground clearence is to little?

Hello, I was wondering how much ground clearence most modified (lowered) early mustangs are running for the street. My 64 only has 4" (it dosent see much street time, mostly track) but Im going to start driving it more on the street now, is 4" about right, anybody have less? Anybody scrape or get hung up on speed bumps? Please let me know if this is to little for day to day driving.

My vehicles have always been trucks, his has never been an issue or even a thought in my mind. Am I to low?

Please measure from any point on the car that is not in line with the tires. THANKS!!!!

i scraped with the stock suspension and the 'shelby drop' on certain parts of my exhaust. but that's because of saggy 40 year old suspension and bad exhaust ( bad shop ) i've seen tons of civics and what not have 2 inches of ground clearance, or even gt3 carreras which are defiantly longer than us, I'm sure you'll be find with a little care around town.

When I played ball with my dog, the tennis ball would get stuck under the car. There are some parking lots I can't go into because of the driveway or speed bumps. If you know what your doing, you can drive a very low car but the headers will rub from time to time. I don't mind, never did. It's just part if it in my opinion.
