its in 4th gear... i need to adjust my e brake so ive got wheel chocks on it and im just pushing it up the chocks. broke an extention on it. 6 foot breaker bar on it and all i broke was the extention.

really wtf!

yea thats one im not gunna try... i might try to put a canister jack under a bar and use the weight of the car if i cant get a bigger compressor this week

I've heard of guys putting the socket on the breaker bar on the crank bolt and wedging it in by the frame, and then blipping the starter to torque the bolt loose... but I wouldn't recommend it, haha.

This was standard practice to get the CS bolt off on the 95 Taurus SHO 3.2 we used to have (automatic, so no way to hold it). But I wouldn't do it on a Fox. On my 89 GT I had to pull my radiator and get a rather large electric impact gun right on the bolt. Popped off pretty easy with a few pulls of the trigger.

I've done it twice, had no problems bumping it loose with a 3/4" rachet and breaker bar in the parking lot at work. The balancer busted just as I was pulling into the parking lot. Had my wife bring my tools and stuff, swapped the balancer out in about an hour or so. :D Sure beat a $150 tow bill.
