Door Wont Open From Inside

91 gt, drivers side door wont open from the inside, whats going on guys?

the latch needs lubed. also the rod may have bent. I know on the Wife's 90 when it gets gold, the latch will start to stick and you cant open it from the inside.

Agreed. For me normally it's the linkage needing to be tweaked a little. It's a long rod and the pivot points can get sloppy or the bends in the rod fatigue a little.

ok, do i need to take the door panel off to fix it? or is it the latch on the outside of the door? this is on my old car btw, a friend of mine bought it off of me.

Takes a few minutes to. The panel. But yes you have to pull it off to fix it. I had her door panel off so many times I am an expert at it.

The panel comes off in a few minutes, and just make sure the linkage and joints are in operational mode. My '91 did the same things. I just ended up making my own linkage, works fine.

Tell your friend its the "date rape" mod.
