New to Stangnet

My name is Ed and I live in San Diego, Ca. I own a 05 Mustang GT, some of my mods are Saleen supercharger (447rwhp/425tq), JBA Shorty headers, 3:73 gears, 3200 stall PI, GT500 fuel pump.
I use to race it at the drag strip, but wife banned me from that since repair cost got to be too much (3 rebuilds on the auto trans, 5 TC's and 2 rear ends).
So now I want to get my my car looking good and put it in car shows, so those mods have already started. Hardkore Metal Finishing (HardKore) is helping me with my show mods. So far the valve covers were epoxy coated, intake tube, front calipers epoxy coated, hood painted, the roof and trunk lid are next.

I plan to epoxy coat the top section of the supercharger to match better.

nice car I am new here also, how did you epoxy your calipers? and what rotors are those

Epoxy coating was do by HardKore Metal Finishing in El Cajon, Ca. The thing about epoxy coating is that you don't have to pull the pistons out or seals. With powder coating you do and most shop won't do that on the stock calipers.

The rotors are from R1 Concepts.

As far as your automatic transmission, may I suggest TCI rebuild parts? They also make their own 5R55S that will withstand the RWHP you have.

TCI - Ford 55R55S (if its agreeable to wife).

Heard of their transmissions and not all good. My next trans will be a 4R70W. I know a few guys with them and all of them are very happy with it. I'm done with the 5R55S when this one breaks.
