I haven’t driven her in 2 weeks (I do start her once a week) since its cold out and the roads have been messy with snow rain salt dirt and all that fun stuff. Today is a warm 28 degrees, blue sky, the roads are dry and clean. Went out and fired her up. She started without a problem, I let her come up to temp (Took about ten minutes at idle). Jumped in drove down the road till I came to a stop sign. I dropped her down to first took traction control off turned onto this nice country road with no houses just fields. Took her up to about 10mph then hit it. Tires spun like crazy ,she was sliding all over the place, slammed her into second still spinning and buy this time I was at 60 and let off backing down to the 50mph speed limit. Drove her around town for a few more miles then took her home. Pulled into the driveway gave her a good couple revs and shut her down until the next time I wake her up to play in these winter months. Any one else drive there stangs on nice days in the winter.
. I still have subframes that need to be installed, I also want FR500 rims and 35% tint to finish off the look of my car. If I do end up keeping my car I will be putting a 6 speed in her and going with an O/R mid pipe. That should put me around 300+ Rwhp.
