New Head Unit

Will it work and what kind of work with the harness will I need to do.

The Alpine stereo decks are very nice I have had a few with
no problems at all.I think Alpine makes a really good product.

I thought they were all the same. BTW you were right on the 9psi pulley.

Yea, installed it over the weekend. Big difference. Went to an audio store today and they said that head unit would work fine.

Don't know yet. Ordered it today but not from that link but should arrive next week and I'll have it installed by the place that said it will fit.

Posting on a ridiculously old thread but I can't find any other talk about this same problem anywhere else! Do any of you guys know how I can fit a double din head unit into my 99? I've already done some modding to the dash and bezel but I'm still not sure I'll be able to make it fit

Wait.. you're probably better off creating a new thread titled... I want to put a Double Din into my 99.

I'm just worried about there being a lack of a support bar underneath where the unit will be like there is on the 02-04 mustangs
