Do you drive your classic in the winter?

I will take mine out on ocassion after a good rain and the salt has washed away. The car has heat so the cold doesn't bother me so much. I work outside for a living so I might feel a little different on this topic than others.

I drive mine in the winter all the time, but definitely not as much as in the summer. Luckily our winters are not that harsh like some of you have to deal with. I do drive it less in the winter. I just took it out the other day and it was 40 degrees and on the way home in was around freezing outside. If there is anything on the roads for ice, I don't take it out though.

I drove mine as my daily driver for about 2 years, but now once it gets into the 40's I pretty much stop driving it, I will occasionally take it out for a ride around the block or a test drive if I have been working on something, but if its salty, icy, or snowy, it stays in the garage.

I take it that the '60s cars are to keep, while winter weather and the likes are harsh to our pride and joy !

But if we all live in dryer / warmer area , I'm sure we would take it out often.

I live in the humid / warm , I could do it all year except when it rains ! I hate to see the works underside get nasty !

Oh, well.....

.

welp, i laid out of work today to go and get plates for my car finally after a 8 months of ownership. $38 later (including back taxes owed by the previous owner) i'm legal. i came home, changed the oil (M1 10W30), and hit the streets!

to answer the OP's title question... now i do. as for temperature: building trust with my +40 year old rust bucket is a bigger issue than how cold.

Here's a photo or two taken while shoveling the car out to get to work a couple mornings a few years ago. I finally took the annual plates off in late '08 and just permit it periodically now.
