Seatbelt question

Hey guys...I just recently bought a complete mystic cobra interior for my 95 and I replaced the carpet, seats, and seatbelts! My drivers seatbelt was worn out!

Now when I drive the car, sometimes the seatbelt gets locked and won't come out no matter what. I fought with it for probably 20 minutes one time yesterday and then it did it again when I was picking up dinner and heading home so I drove without the seatbelt (not a fan of this, it was a weird feeling).

Does anyone have any advice of what I should do? Or how to fix it?

Thanks guys, this is a very important part of my car because I always wear my seatbelt!

There are two seat belt styles - I believe it's 94-96, and 97-98. While the Mystic is 1996, it's possible that the seat belt was replaced. I had a reverse problem - my seat belt would not stay latched, and would keep popping out. You apparently used the belt from the Mystic - did you use the latch, or your old one?

I used the whole seat belt assembly from the Cobra, but if you are talking about the plastic piece that it hooks into...I believe I reused the 95 one. Could that cause a problem for it? I am so confused about seatbelts lol. I have never replaced them before this.
