If I used this setup, would I be hitting my 400hp goal?

Trick Flow Twisted Wedge Heads 61cc with 1.6 rocker arms, Trick Flow Cam Stage 1, Trick Flow Upper/Lower Intake Manifold, CAI, 75mm throttle body, 80mm mass air flow sensor, BBK 1 5/8" headers, cat back exhaust, 30# injectors, underdrive pulleys, computer chip, msd 6al ignition, 3.73 gears.....and last but not least a supercharger 8-10lbs boost. Not sure what brand name I'd go for...lookin at Vortech or Powerdyne. Please help, any input would be greatly appreciated.

Rear wheel, or flywheel? H/C/I with supporting mods plus boost should definitely set you at your goal... However, why the supercharger? 300whp n/a would be good for 12's normally depending on driving, and if you really want that extra ~100, why not just spray it a bit? Less money than the s/c, at first, unless you start refilling constantly. There's multiple people on here running a mild h/c/i with a Vortech hitting OVER 400 at the wheels. It wouldn't be a bad setup, that's for sure!

go with an S-trim and a better cam if possible. im assuming your wanting to get the TFS top end kit, i almost went that route myself, but there are better combos to be made for the same money. you'll want 42lb injectors, the 6al box is fine ( i have one also) but youll want to upgrade the plug wires, Coil, and possibly dist. for the best results.

is this all going on a stock bottom end? whats the mileage?

do you think my cam would be able to support a supercharger, the range is 2,000-5,5000. 221/225 @ 50inch?? i still want this to be street legal and to make 400rwhp. which brand supercharger would best fit my setup? and tanner what combo is better for a cheaper price??

actually that cam will do just fine if you are going to supercharge the motor. the reason why i say that is that the cam has low end and it wont need to turn a lot of rpms to build decent power to start out with. yes there are better cams, but if you already have that, i would just stick with it. some people go too extreme on a cam and it actually stumbles a little bit. i have the stage 1 cam in my setup and i have no complaints.

i have a 331 stroker f cam 75mm tb 80mm maf 50lb inj. typhoon intake ebrook rpm heads 1.60 rockers v1 supercharger 373's it put out 400hp to the wheels and 390ft lb's of t. its fast;-) hope that helps

I pretty mutch have your same combo, same heads intake, rockers. Im runnign 42lbs injectors 80mm C&L E303 cam with a V2 SQ Vorthec Blower. It was tuned using a diablo sport chip at 442 RWHP and 395 TQ. I went with 225 in tank fuel pump. Im actually moving on to other things so i will be removing the blower to sell it and get some money back for my other projects.:nice:

I am running tfs heads/ intake and f303 on a 302. With 7 #s from my Hellion heat kit it made 500hp/560FT# at the wheels. Turbo is my suggestion. My buddy just got his na car tuned. Its is a trick flow top end stage1 cam on a 306 with TF pistons 10:1 ish compression, headers, exhaust, 75mm tb..... it made 320hp/340ft# at the wheels. Runs great awsome car and cost alot less to build than a charged car. Will live alot longer too.
