What Story Do These Pistons Tell???

just pulled heads and this is what lied beneath, to me they look like hell. but im used to working on 2 stroke motors. im going to attempt to post a few pics. sorry in advance if it doesnt work

Poor fuel quality, alot of idle time and short trips, also burning oil.

Not all that bad considering that most of the time it looks worse. Most of the time there is carbon buildup on them.

not bad, cylinder wear is what you want to examine though.

there is 80,000 on them. is there anything to be concerned about here? are they good to go and just bolt on the new heads ( with some gasket surface cleaning of course) i would really rather not get into any more($$$ wise) if i dont have to. im already turning my head on that rusty block that looks like you know what. wish i had time and cash to redo entire motor

cylinders look good, i do know that

hit it with a cylinder hone, then put it back together with fresh oil rings and bearings

btw the lip of the cylinders should be sharp, top 1/2 inch of cylinder is the most important part
