Water seeping through drivers side door=-(

Story goes like this. When I got the car and it first rained I noticed that the carpet behind the driver seat was a little moist. Come to find out there was water getting through the door weather seal, so I thought. My buddy sinister luckily had a door kit to do both doors, so he hooked it up, and i install it immediately that day. I did both doors, but the problem originally was on the drivers side, now AFTER I was done, everything looked good, both seals were on nice and tight, it rained couple weeks after, AND I WAS STILL getting water in the car!=-(. TODAY I spent most of the day removing my fender and trying to tighten up the gaps on the drivers door, they were not up to par with the passenger side. Hinges were adjusted, door is better than it was, BUT I am still getting water in the car, I thought maybe the door was off and so not making a good seal. I can poor water down the side of the door seal and it is fine! When I poor water on the roofline/where the door begins to turn down, the water drips down and into the channel between the door and body, the weather seal is doing its job, partially. I have come to a conclusion that the water is draining behind the weather seal( SEE PIC BElOW) and traveling down the backside of the weather seal, down the edge of the plastic quarter panel and into my rear drivers floor pan. IM not sure if I am thinking bout this right, but its the only other thing I could think of. I am almost tempted to run a small/thin bead of black silicone at the top edge of the seal where it meets the door, to close in the gap between the seal edge and body. ANY ideas are quite welcome, Im dissapointed with this damn weather seal!!!

Cliff notes:
water getting into my drivers side, rear carpet
Appears to be draining behind door seal, running down it alongside plastic edge of quarter panel
BOTH DOORS have new door to body weather seal (UNKNOWN if seal is REPO or OEM FORD PIECE)
Drivers side is the only side affected, weather seal installed the same on both sides....
IM 100% sure that water is not getting through between the door and weather seal, have checked and double check by pouring water directly into the door gap, door seal keeps water out.

Notice the rust on the metal trim piece that holds the headlines up by the door, it was like that with the old seal

Do you have the nylon door striker bushings installed? They're like 3 bucks a piece and they work wonders for making the door seal properly against the weatherstripping. They install in about 5 seconds.

Don't Know whats wrong but the seal should not be pinched or kinked like it is in your picture.

The seal does not leak at that pinch it self, nor anywhere else between the seal and door it self. IM almost positive the water is draining behind the seal and body gap( the edge where it slips into the edge on the door frame). So it seems to me the seal does not sit tight enough at this corner for some odd reason, maybe it was install error, IM planning on taking it off and reinstalling it again on this side

my seal is pinched. your doors sagging. its closing where the seam is. close your door, and watch as you close it all the way slowly the door will pick up about an 1/8th of an inch. with the door open about 12 inches you can pick the door up and move it up and down. ive done the striker bushing and the pins in it, and it still moves. im just gonna have the door re hung one day.

One quick test would be use a piece of paper maybe inch wide by twelve inches long or so. Roll down window close door with paper hanging out on suspect area and pull the paper in and out, if resistance is felt you have a good seal if not you know you have a gap.

The door to body seal? When I redid mine, my seams were along the bottom where the seat belts attach to the floor. And that's where I put the seam on my new weather stripping.
