Ok, so I wound up with a sweet deal on a Black 85 GT with T-tops. The car has no motor or trans. I am rying to determine if I should put a 351W or a 302 into the car.
My very first car was ab 85 Mustang GT with the police interceptor motor, at least that is what we were told when we purchased it. Anyways, I miss the feeling of jumping on the gaas and moving out.
I have been searching several sites and have found both motors available to purchase. In your guys' opinion what would be a better motor to install?
I appreciate any input on this. Before I begin my build I will post some pictures of the car and then post my progress.

i think if i had the money everything i owned would have a big cube engine in it. but really depends on what your looking for a mild DD that gets 12 mpg in the city go with a 302 set up. if it is a weekend terror then do a 351 stroker motor. as mentioned big cubes = big fun
 
The car is more of a weekend warrior/ fun car. I may use it for date nights with my wife and then just fun driving.
is it possible to do a 351 without a scooped hood? I thought the intakes sit higher on the 351....
another question.... duel injection or carbs?

IIRC someone makes shorter motor mounts or K member spacers. I think there's a way around it.
