I've just put together my 86 mustang.. stock block, forged internals.stock ported heads,SSI intake w/70mm TB, full exhaust..(shorty headers,2 1/2 x-pipe,borla cat back) F cam, 3.55 gears, rebuilt trans with hardend internals.Paxton novi 1000 with 2.75 head unit pulley and 8" crank pulley not for sure boost yet...any ideas? But heres the problem I can't get it to idle right no matter what I do it surges up and down like its trying to correct itself. I messed with timing its good, adjusted the throttle body no luck there either???I still am runing the factory MAP sensor..could that be my problem?and Why? Could I get a "chip" to fix it? Lots of questions but cant Find any answers. Its seems I've already check everything cleaned the throttle body, changed throttle postion sensor , no vaccum leaks, good fuel pessure?? I don't know has me scrathing my head? Any ideas would be appreciated..Thanks

You could try the getting a Idle Air Control Adjuster kit from cj pony parts. The part#HW2451. It will allow you to adjust the air flow at idle and should fix the problem you're having. It works good on cars with cams and superchargers and will help smooth your idle.
