Did you get a wiring harness? Also, the 5.0 from the Crown Vic is not the same as the Mustang 5.0 HO. It will bolt up fine, but the cam, intake and heads are low performance versions and the firing order is different, I believe. So, unless you are going to upgrade these items before you put it in, it may not be worth it. I am not sure on the transmission, with the right bellhousing it may work, but you may need to change the input shaft too. What year is this going in by the way?

Your trans will work just fine, but you'll need a 94/95 Bellhousing.

If you can find ALL the parts from a donor 94/95 GT/Cobra, then go for it, otherwise it is not worth it. You'll end up with a mess if you try to fit that crown vic motor in there. I consider myself a 9 out of 10 in being knowledgeable about these cars and a swap like that would scare even me! I say shop around and find yourself a complete setup from the proper year car.

The main parts that are really exclusive to these year cars are the computer/engine harnesses and the computer. You could make just about any year EFI 5.0 V8 engine work if you had those specific parts. So if you're dead set on making the crown vic motor work you'll need to score those parts I mentioned as a bare minimum, then go from there. Good luck.

im not dead set on that exact motor it was just a good deal and an idea i wasnt 100% sure about......but the only problem i have is that i cant find a HO 5.0for sale............so if u have one for sale or know of one let me know

enough to get a decent motor and not get screwed over on it.....and i wouldnt mind shipping except that it gets EXTREMLY expensive but Ill do it if ts not expensive and something i want.......why what do you have in mind????

prestige mustang has a bunch of stangs to choose from ... they could pull one for ya, and the harness and computer and all that stuff

they are in georgia i think

then again, there is the 410W in my car that i've considered selling, but the price for that is in a different range than the ones from prestige

what exactly is that???
what exactly is what? a 410W? that is a 410 cubic inch (6.7 liter) windsor engine.

that is what you can do with these cars ... take a 351 CI windsor (5.7 liter) engine out of a truck or somethng, increase the stroke of the crankshaft if you want to make it bigger (up to 427 CI) and put that motor into a pre-1996 mustang. it's actually not that hard to do. lots of people have done it.

windsor is the name of the plant where the engines were made.

i know what you got and i will never be next to you on the start line that is for sure :hail2: and i was talking about the website but i figured it out and someguy is suppost to call me from there tomarrow.......thank you man i would have never found that site.....do you have anymore????
