ok if anyone remembers i have a 68 stang that i converted to efi. it ran great for 2 years no problems with all craigslist and junkyard parts and would smoke a new camaro ss. well it had started bucking bad at sometimes low speed. mostly over 2400 rpm forget it unless you want your neck snaped it would buck as if it was a first timer behind stick shift. i checked the timing i replaced the distrubitor several times. fuel pressure was a steady 41 psi no matter what. well to day the fuel pump relay went out. i was excited thinking that must be it. WRONG changed it and the car turned on but still bucked.so by now im thinking wtf when was the last time it ren well it was before i ripped a motor mount. so i looked around the engine and it hit me i had no ground straps from body to engine. so quickly i put a strap from the back of the head to the firewall and rear intake bolt to the body. she is back 100% now. the funny thing during all my research is i found most 5.0 guys have idle issues. mine always idled great rock steady. so i post this so any one with the same problem might find it.

stangnet rocks
