I was waiting for one of the straps to fail and the car to nail the guy standing in front of it.
exactly what i thought.
Too many people in there... if the motor blows a couple people lose their faces.. if the straps brake a couple people lose their legs. That's exactly the reason why most shops have that sign "No Customers Beyond This Point" at the door.
Except Horsepower Freaks! Went there for a dyno day a while back and they let the shop FILL with people. In fact, I was pumping a grumpie in the bathroom when a 1,000 HP Supra blew on the dyno....lets just say I had a little help that day with the mud dragons....

Yeah I think torque freaks closed, but last I checked they are still there. I get emails every once in a while from em.:Teh-Win:
That's gotta be the best way I heard that explained in my entire life.
I've been to hpf during a dyno day. They had the shop full of people but they were behind a rail about 10' away from the cars, not less than 2'.
Are they still there on Airport way? Last time I was in the area I didn't see the shop.
Thank you thank you, check out the short bus sometime, I have shared the pump a grumpie a time or two over thereStay outta the dyno room Santa Claus!
Colorful euphamisms for describing dropping a chop. You sir are the Mark Twain of poop stories!
