I am prepping my underbody for por 15, I have factory paint underneath still in perfect shape, my question is will the por 15 stick and last to the paint? I was going to go over the paint with some 60grit sandpaper and scratch it up for better adhesion and I am also using marine clean and metal ready on it, think it will stick?

i used this stuff on a 68 stang that i had replaced the floors ,stuff works really good , but that was on bare meta.but i sold the car 7 years ago ,to a freind he still has and the floors still luck fantastic , done right the stuff lasts!

thanks for the suggestions I think sanding should be sufficient I am almost done sanding just taking a little break, probably got around 20 hours in sanding:( once I get that all done I just have to order my subframe connectors and weld them and torque box reinforcement plates in and I will be ready for paint:D

that stuff can be a little funny sometimes. the way its designed it actually sticks to slightly rust metal better than shiney new because of the texture. and it cures by actually drawing moisture into it unlike most paint that just has a thinner in it that evaporates leaving pigment. either way though, as long as you follow the instructions to the "t" the paint will probably last longer than the car itself. same goes for if you get it on any of your skin. like the top of the can says..."only time will remove it"
