40 series vs. super 40 vs. super 44 Flowmasters

I'm ready for some new mufflers and want to go back to Flowmasters. Back in the day all we had was 40 series two chambers but now I see they added super 40 and super 44 as well. I'm looking mufflers that sound just like the original 40 series but with maybe less of the dreaded drone at 2000-2500 rpm. What's the difference between these mufflers and can any of them help with the drone while keeping that original "flowmaster sound"? Thanks.

i had original 40s, went to super 44s. they are a bit quieter. as far as sound they are almost the same but i remember liking my 40s better.

the super 40's american thunder. dont the the super delta 40's. make sure there two chamber =) i have a vid with 2 chamber 40's but with catted xpipe on youtube.

Not sure how they sound in comparison to the others but I'm running shorty headers, O/R H-pipe and Super 44's
