a timing adjuster is only going to adjust your base timing, you will be on borrowed time without a full tune.
You should be safe with around 16* total timing. I have been running a 125hp shot at 16* for a couple years without trouble.
It has ran a best of 11.54 so far.
My "performance" tune has 18* timing in it. Both tunes are from Mustang Performance Parts & Upgrades by Brenspeed.
Thanks man!
I have Flowtech LT's and x pipe, JLT intake, 75mm tb, TrickFlow plenum, 4.10's, Steeda lca's, big/littles with MT et street radials. 31 spline Mosers, FRPP differential also.
13.16 @ 104, IIRC. I'm pretty sure it has a 12.9x in it, just got to drive it! I've trapped as high as 106 NA before, but typically its ~104.
Should'nt be a problem for you with a good launch. Get that 60' time in the 1.7x's or lower and you'll be in the 11's pretty easy.
