Toyota recalls - People are STUPID

No, Toyotas do not have a 100% reliable vehicle as no manufacture does. Its a known fact that Toyota has the most cars on the road. Their quality control has the LEAST amount of break downs per amount of vehicles on the road.

The only thing that bothers me is when people say "The japanese build better cars". That opinion is manifested because of what the media has been saying for the last 25 years. I might even agree that 15 or 20 years ago that was true, but not now. I've owned both....and I've found the American cars to be just as reliable and just as good in fit and finish. I'll put a Ford up against a Japanese car any day. I had a 2000 Ranger that had over 175,000 miles on it and the engine didn't burn any oil and ran like the day it was new when I sold it. Even GM has come a long way from what they were building in the early and mid '90's. I've owned Hondas, toyotas, and Domestics. As of now...I'll stick with the domestics only because even if they aren't built in the United States at least I know my money is going to an American Company. But with that said...they SHOULD be built here and not in other countries. But that is another argument. Our government keeps saying how they want to create jobs and they won't until they stop letting companies outsource labor to other countries to save on wages. There has to be some regulation on this matter, if there isn't I feel this country is doomed to go the way of the Soviet Union.

That would never work , do the big three really need another reason to build ****y cars the fall apart , especially GM ! I have worked on in some way just about every car made in this country and its unreal the junk that comes out of the big three , I love my Ford MoCo but the Jabanese build much better cars that are much easier to fix and work on , It seems that most people have a blind faith when it comes to the big three and refuse to accept the above statement !

Most to the Big three parts come from overseas and half of GM **** is built outside of the US , so is this really going to help the econmy recover , NO because as long as you have greedy ****s running this country it will never recover !

Funny...it was working great 30 yrs ago when the american economy was BOOMING!!!! Greed is pathetic, i agree. But as to most of the parts being made overseas....thats why i orginally included the "outsourcing" in my post!

This is completely unsubstantiated BS. I suppose you believe in the tooth fairy and the Easter bunny as well.

Whenever people use the term "known fact" or "true fact," they might as well be saying "totally made-up." Because it means the same thing. People only use those terms when they know they are lying.

Funny that my experience with Toyota is markedly different than you claim. I think I'm going to go with rational thought and documented evidence rather than fanboy wishful thinking.
