71-73 gauge pod

I just recently swapped to Autometer gauges in the center pods. I couldn't find any guage kits, so after experimenting with various glues we found one that worked. I can't remember what we used unfortunately.

After wiring them in, I had one person help me hold them in place while I'll positioned them. After sitting overnight they've held great. I drive the car alot and it's been over 4 months since doing this. Looks pretty good.

I would also like to know what size AutoMeter gauges you used to replace the Speedo & Tach. I've seen it done on the 71-73 Mustangs but, have had no luck finding out what size gauges to buy.

Count me in as wanting to know what size guages.

The oil pressure guage on my Cougar (1973) has been non-op since prior to the P.O's purchase of the car; and the ammeter will be in the same state as soon as I install a 3G alternator.

From what I can tell (not having an available 71-73 Mustang on which to take measurements); the center gauge pod is the same on both models.....

Bump. I still have the 3 autometer gauges in the factory center gauge pod. I'd like to add an air/fuel and possibly a trans temp gauge. I'm about to put a stereo system in so I don't want to use the head unit area for guages. Anybody experimented with either an a-pillar or possibly dash pad setup for our years?
