I've got a whining noise when my clutch is engaged (when I'm not pushing on it) and someone told me it could be some bearing that needs adjusting. Any ideas what they were talking about?

TOB (throw out bearing) Mine is doing the same right now too. Bout to get it fixed this weekend I hope. Replacing whole clutch assembly and maybe a quadrant kit/cable
What is a quadrant kit/cable? I'm not familiar with that
A chirping sound would be a more accurate description.
UTGAMER: How much is it costing you to get your clutch assembly replaced?

The prob is just getting to the 2 bolts on top of the bellhousing. Its rained all day as it does here in Ga so I didnt get it done today.
Thats how its sitting now, but still not much room to get to them, pretty much under windshield/firewall, should I pull jack oout from under tranny? its pretty low, scared motor will drop and pull everything out and just screw it all up in general
Sorry stepped on knightmares thread
So if I let tail sit on ground The bellhousing will drop so I can get the top bolts? Would I need jack under oil pan as tail sits?
Didnt jack motor? Will engine not fall when tranny is off? lol..........Mine is a lil bit lower, but the highest I can get it.
