I bought some Meguiars Gold Plus Carnuba Paste wax today and I wanted to try it out.

I needed to detail it for the Texas Mile on saturday, and I just found out it's supposed to rain on thursday :nonono:

It really made the stang shine!

Thanks man! I've been playing with different stuff figuring out what works best..

Right now i'm working on what gets out swirls and fine scratches, thats something i havent been able to figure out

You're like the god of detailing, your stang looks amazing

looks amazing, is that wax hard to remove? i have been using nufinish forever. but recently switched to meguiar's tech wax 2.0 and love it, i had my work cut out for me today,
spent 4 hours washed/dry clay bar. waxed it was getting late so ima do inside tomorrow
also removing wing now that i have my 18x10's

Swirls and fine scratches can be removed with a light polish. After you polish you will want to make sure you put a coat of wax over it. Deeper swirls and scratches will requier the use of a machine, Porter cable, or rotary buffer with the proper pads.

compared to the other waxes i've used, this one was EXTREMELY easy to remove :nice:

Car is looking good. I would recommend the Meguires NXT 2.0 Tech Wax. I've never used the Gold Class, but I think the Tech Wax is supposed to be a step above. It is certainly the best wax I've ever used, and at less than $20 a bottle, it doesn't break the bank either.

I've got a nice little collection of my own that is growing pretty quickly. I also have some questions about a few different things on my car that need to be fixed. Once I get some pics, I'll definitely be posting over there/awaiting your response. :D

Depends on how deep the swirls. I prefer Meg's 105/205 combo myself. Follow that up with a good finishing polish and a good sealant/wax and :nice:
