So I just took a trip soon as I turned on my road car was boggin, stopped at drive way and it didnt want to go turned it ff crunk it up idle's bad turned it off and tried to crank it, but would not start, is this the fuel pump yall were talking about? If so when I turn key to on position I can hear it soon as I turn ignition on, so would that signal it still works and is another problem?

Thanks again

Might want to clean your MAF ? I had a problem like that, car bogging, car would start then die, let it sit for a bit, start again, car would run a little bit then die. Idled extremely rough. Cleaned MAF and the problem went away.

Also check air filter, etc. I cleaned MAF with q-tips and 90% rubbing alcohol or something, just don't use carb cleaner because you don't want any residue. Also, be very careful, the maf consists of a couple bars with these sensors between them, the sensors break off easily if you put any pressure on them. If you break a sensor, you'll be purchasing a new MAF.

And yes, that noise you hear when the key is turned is your fuel pump.

you need to get a gauge & check your fuel pressure. @idle w/vac line removed should show close to 40psi. if it won't start, you can still check it by hooking the gauge up & watching it as someone else turns the key on.
how old is your fuel filter? might want to replace it regardless. I don't think they last as long with the crappy ethanoled gas we have now.

Cleaned MAF a few days ago cause I like the power gain I got after first time cleaning. CAI is connected tight and fuel filter is no more than a month old. I dont have tools or a way to get the tools to check presure

Since the fuel pump is making noise, I would start there. Like stated above, check your fuel pressure at the rail. If it's getting app. 40psi, then it's not the fuel delivery system.

Did you just get your car out of storage or something? Or have you been pulling parts off and cleaning, etc?? If so, what have you done? You are having way too many problems all at once.

So, just to be clear, normally, your car runs and idles fine (minus the chirping, rattling, and whining)? No rough idle or surge? This was the first time the car died on you?
I had a bad dizzy that made my car die at red lights and tough to start sometimes. Thats an expensive fix though.
