71 mustang disc brakes on 68 conversion question

They will mount directly provided you use outer tie rods and bearings spec'ed for a 71. Those brakes are essentially the same as 68 OE disc brakes. The difference being the diameter of tie rod mount hole and the stub axle.
 
Yes, all info above is correct.

The Rotors are all same----Yes the Rotors are same, it is the Bearings that are Different. If one chooses to use "A Rotor" all you need to do is remove the race in the rotor, put in the year correct races with bearings, the rotor will fit the given year.

Calipers are identical as well.

Same Geometry from 68-73, Same Track, etc.
