:DI'm getting ready to purchase a twin turbo or a single turbo system for my car. My question is will i have to rebuild all of the internals. I have a 255lph fuel pump all nwe aftermarket injectors. True duals. Computer chip. 3.73 rear end gears. Racing clutch. Cold air intake. High flow radiator. If i do have to rebuild the internals could I use cast internals.

How much boost are we talkin about here? If its more than 5 or 6 psi, then you will need to replace the head gaskets with higher quality ones meant for such an application. Failue to do so may easily result in blown gaskets real soon.

Don't forget a calibrated MAF sensor. You'll need that along with those injectors you just bought. Gotta make sure you get a proper tune otherwise you'll run too lean and cause detonation... and then bye bye cylinder head.

Other than that, you shouldn't need to totally rebuild. Aftermarket heads may save you some headache later on because the factory heads are prone to warpage, and thats usually what makes them leak prematurely.

well first off please dont buy a turbo kit from ebay!! Second upon finding a legit turbo kit for the 3.8 you would def need to address some issues. If you are a lil worried about the head gaskets, which u should be, then get mls (multi layer steel).
the internals should be good for 350hp max, but i wouldnt push them that high as reliability drops. If you are to do it right, i would just build the bottom end. The heads will be fine as there are no aftermarket ones right now. check out gssmotorsports.com great guys i know from exerience.
if you do get the turbo on and need a tuner and base tune to get you to the dyno contact [email protected], hes the best man for tuning these v6s.
