Welcome to Stangnet.

Most economical solution?

Replace the damaged parts in your trans (yourself if you know how to or have a local trans shop do the work - might help to include your location in your user profiile so other users can recommend a quality mustang/trans shop near you).

Other than that, you could try finding a used/junkyard TR-3650 trans and just swap out your damaged TR-3650. Or, upgrade to a T-56 trans if you feel like spending some coin...

G'luck.

BTW - Please turn off your "caps lock" button. :) Thx.

Im with Cobra90. Your best bet is to fix it for now. The most expensive part is The tear down. If you'r planning on making over 400ft/tq then save your money and build a trany able to handle it.

i understand your grief, my t45 isnt going to last very long and i know ill be in the same place as you but if i were you i would put in a tko or a good t56 like they said, i mean its one less thing to replace when you add some more ponies down the road

do it yourself, im in the process of rebuilding my tko 600, not as bad as everyone makes it out to be at all and i have never been inside a manual tranny before. Go to ddperformance.com and download the manual and print out for directions and get parts from thegearbox.org easyest and cheapest solution, they even sell parts resonably priced to make it hold more hp.
