This is my first 2v. I was a fox body guy in the past. What is needed to build a 500 wheel horse reliable street driven 2v. I want to bring it to the strip maybe once or twice a month, and want to drive it there and beat the crap out of it and drive it back with no worries :).....Please list all parts and prices??? Is it possible for 10-12k? I want the car to be bullet proof! Thanx!

Cheapest and easiest way:

1) Forged block
2) supercharger with intercooler
3) supporting mods (MAF, fuel pump, injectors)

You could make 500rwhp with nothign else but a supercharger, no bolt-ons, no nothing. Full exhaust would help with those numbers but im just saying it Is possible to hit 500rwhp with stock heads/cams and nothing else but a supercharger, supporting mods and maybe an intercooler.

I would rather keep my 2V. Get an MMR 900 shortblock and throw some Trickflow heads on it. Then blower cams and pulley that kenne bell or which ever blower you would get. That is an Easy 500 RWHP setup. I wouldn't wanna mess With a blown 2v that's built. Just my two cents. :D

Check out the mods in my sig: I am making 428rwhp safely and haven't even come close to maxing out my vortech sq trim. I've had a blower for about 15k miles now and haven't had one problem...(of course i baby it) but i do bring it to the track from time to time and really romp on it.
