Well, I found a way to get the grin off my face from driving my car to work on Monday. Got up this morning, and there was 3 inches of fresh snow in the driveway.

:jaw:

Ended up driving the Excursion today. We'll see what the weather holds for tomorrow. Definitely done with winter--whether or not it's done with me is another story.

Is that an angry bunny racing sticker you're sporting?

(Terlingua lol) I've got a shirt with it and everyone laughs about it. :)

Bingo! We have a winner!

Yep, I'm a Terlingua Racing fan, since it fits the heritage thing really well, and most don't know what it is.

I have a hat with the bunny (his name is "Lucifer", by the way)--lots of folks think its some sort of hosed-up Ferrari symbol.

Also have a t-shirt with the Terlingua race team motto: "The older I get, the faster I was".

I did not know that about the racing....hmmmm that is pretty cool after searching google for a bit on it.

That has me thinking about a black and yellow theme as the prior ideas always seem to come off bumble bee ish....maybe if I can find some emblems (if they make more than just a decal) to put in place of the 5.0 I now have were the GT badge is. Maybe a yellow stripe and/or hood like the racing team with the lucifer bunny in reverse.

yeah we had about .5 inch of snow this morning, meanwhile it was 83 degrees on Wed here in Ohio!!

It's back around 50 here and sunny. Would have had the top down yesterday, but I had my pupils dilated at my eye exam, and I needed all the shade I could get, even with the black-out sunglasses on.

Eyes are better today, but haven't been out today. Still over a foot of snow in the yard to melt, but the roads are clear and dry. Wish the street sweepers would get out and start clearing all the cinders. Getting way too much wheel spin and sliding sideways around corners.:D

I know what you mean about the bumble bee thing. Already have a chick at work who calls my car "bumble bee".

I haven't seen emblems, just the decals.

I also thought about doing a black bunny on the hood, but I don't have enough under the hood to pull off something that bold-looking.

I really wanted to switch the color scheme on my 67 to yellow with black, and do a Terlingua thing there, but got strongly vetoed by the wife and daughter, so I won't have a matched set of yellow verts.

I think I am going to do this in vinyl as a test. My clear is kinda crapping out on the roof and ground effects anyway and the center of the hood has some chips.

I work with a guy who did vinyl for 20-25yrs and has a printer in his basement for side work. His daughter has a 95 v6....thinking of a hood/roof/truck piece and group effects strip.

Thinking of a modified version of this. on the hood have the flat strip but have the yellow go down the full length not just 12-18inches. Then have the ground effect in yellow at the front and fade to black at the back. Would have to repaint my calipers yellow...or save up for some cobra's but I will have to see if I like my rims with a spacer on them. The 265 tire vs. the 275 did bring the tire under the front fender again. I would not have the big yellow stripe were it says need for speed mid body
