Heyy guys so im new to this forum and am planning on buying a 2011 mustang V6 soon! ..The only problem is all the dealerships ive contacted and visited seem to be alittle behind! :nonono: Not to many of them are aware of the new Packages/Options avaliable for the 2011 Model..and when I get them to build me one they dont show up on there system :notnice: ..for the most part the options are the same as the 2010 model minus the engine.

The main packages/options im talking about are:

-Mustang Club of America package
-The 3:31 gear ratio
-Electronics Package (Navigation)
-V6 Performance package

..I was wonderig how you guys went about ordering yours and if the only main package avaliable at the time was the Pony Package..did any of you gets yours with the new packages/options or were did you just go with what avaliable on the system!

Thanks alot! :) I live in Toronto btw in terms of location

I just ordered a 2011 GT earlier today with no problems. My cousin works at the Yonge/Steeles Dealership and i'm sure he can help you out. Let me know and i'll hook you up if you want.

Thanx alot guys..ya any info will help at this point..

In terms of the V6 and new packages, I wanted the Club of america package, 3:31 gears, and electronics package and obv that would be on top of the premium mustang. Suks I knew the performance package will be a longer wait:notnice:

"Fugitive" thanks for the offer! and word when yours is set to be delivered?

I've been told a couple months, so it's going to be hard to wait now that the weather is starting to get better. I just hope I have her before June 18 when I go on vacation so I can drive my baby :)

Fursuree!:D thats why I want to order or buy mine asap when it gets to the dealerships..it seems even on the website ford.ca all the new options are avaliable for the GT..but not updated for the V6..not only on the site but on there system as well.:notnice:

..do you know if your cousin knows why this is? Thanks

I will be talking with the dealer tomorrow so i will ask if they can find out for the mustang club oackage and i'll let you know.

The dealership I buy at has a ton of 2010 V-6s on the lot. Now that the 2011 V-6s are hitting, I'm sure those 2010 V-6 models will go at fire sale prices. They only have a few 2010 GTs left, so I don't think they will give them away.

This is a good opportunity for someone who is looking for a commuter or a car for their kids.

Chris P I had my cousin look it up and apparently the Mustang club of America package won't be available in Canada :(
If you still want to get a V6 I'm sure he can get you a really good price.
I ended up Ordering my 2011 GT/CS and I'm going to pay $1,000 less than X-plan. Let me know and i'll hook you up if you want.

To Fugitive!

Wowww no are you serious! does that also go for the navagation/electronics package and the higher Gears!:(

Ya when its time il deff have to talk to him! :)

Its terms on the club of america package I guess its not the "biggest" deal..since I will be replacing the wheels..so that means all I got to get is the rear black out panel which is not expensive and a new grille..which the pony package grille is still nice.

But ya if you can please ask him about the other two remaining packages I was planning on getting!

Thanks!

Chris, Is there a particular reason you want a V6? If not for insurance reasons or fuel economy I would get a 2010 GT they are so cheap now and outperform the new V6. As for the Nav all I know is that it requires Sync and V6's dont get sync in the order form at least. For the gears I believe you can get them cause all the restrictions i see are manual transmissions only.
Maybe things change in a few days when Ford gives the OK to start selling.

how much is the GT well how much can you get it for at the moment?

And ya it terms of the V6 its more for insurance and total price, I dont think i'll be able to spend that much..fuel economy is nice but thats not the problem

And in terms of Sync it does come with the Premium Mustang!:D..it does not come with the base V6.

Ya your right tho I think things will change once they get some models to the dealership..have the brochures etc..because right now most of the sales reps are lost haha..Ive know more then all the sales people I have talked too lol

From your cousin what type of deal would we be looking at for the V6..ball park if you know off by hand.?

Nothing wrong with the new v6, its a great car. Put some 3.73 gears on them and they will over all out run a 2010 GT. I know 3.73 is not an option from the dealer but I would buy the gears and have them put them in. Six seed trany, 3.73 gears plus a car that is under 3500lbs will make for one fun fast car. Your talking 0-60 under five seconds with 3.73s.

Keep in mind that they've made structural additions to all '11 models. From what I've read, the '11 is a more refined car . . .
