It's refreshing to see some unique idea's taking shape like you've done with your fox

It's tough to stand out at car shows these days, I'm sure you'll have no problems whatsoever in doing just that....EXCELLENT work! :nice:

Well guys its been a while since I've done something to my car I been working on it little by little. This week I went to the junk yard to buy my outer trim pieces where the window goes mine where not looking that great..I got them both for 4.05 at the Jy.. Just cleaned them up looks better than the ones I had...Well I keep saying that i'm almost done but then other things come up,,,I reprimered the car this weekend, I want to say this might be the last primer coat I put but I'm thinking one more will be needed,, I just feel like its not right, so I block sand it, then primer then block sand then primer,, I'm getting really close now here some pictures of the stang in black primer.

Before the primer....

..
I started sanding the car with a line sander that I bought It kind of helps but its to big for the side of the fenders. It worked great on the doors since it was a bigger area,, well anyways I will post some more pictures tomorrow...

Well heres an update I added a guide coat to the car to do a final block wet sand before i start painting. I tried to align my fenders and door as best as possible. since i took my doors off and fenders.I think they came out straight. so far I've done part of a fender and part off the door...some picts look dark sorry..

I had an extra engine stand so I riged up this for my wing. I can turn it without touching the wing and get right under it easily

No work done???

:( no not much...The car is wet sanded. Can't spray because i was told that if i paint my car now my paint will sag.. My reducer is for a high temp, for 90degrees or higher Since i bought it during the summer for AZ weather..its been like 75 now...guess i have to wait for a awhile..OR would I have to wait longer to spray my coats? At the moment since i cant paint i been working on trying to figure out my fittings i need to use for my fuel system.. damn i hate AN fittings!!! Also one thing the last time i wet sanded my car i left my tape on there when i masked up the inside where i had previously painted i left i there for about 2 months.:nono:..learned my lesson..... so it left some tape glue had to take off the residue left from it..It wasn't hard just time consuming...Had my older son do it for punishment.. He was actually enjoying it though. He said when can he help me work on my car again....LOL.. I'm on vacation for a week and half... so lets see what else i can do.....

Just a dumb question. i'm Putting my fuel system on my car.(Since i can't paint at the moment.) Starting from the back to the front. can't afford to buy all my fittings at once. I just realized i haven't purchased my y block. My question is do i need a y block for my fuel system?

Hey guys i'm close to painting my car. I want it painted tomorrow.. If the weather is right and no wind.. I"ll will . have to do the masking. I cleaned the garage tonight to make room nothing in the way swepped and washed the floor. Might give it one last wash tomorrow and use grease and wax remover... I'm so excited i can't sleep....Anyone have any pointers? Its my first whole full car I paint...So if nothing comes up I'm painting my car..So if it starts to get late i might have to give up my sunday shift to paint sunday.....But for sure this weekend...
