Rev-limiters on F/I Supercharged 3v's? What's yours set at??

Rev-limiters on F/I Supercharged 3v's? What's yours set at?? I have a 2010 GT w/ a Votech V3 HO intercooled blower..gettign tuned next week - My factory Rev-limiter was 6,500, my BAMA Tune was 6,700... but the base stock Vortech tune is just over 6,000!!! I'm just getting full boost/power and it hits revlimiter!! Booo!! What's the highest safe setting when I get it tuned? Can I run my old 6,700 again, I know thats 100% safe for these motors w/ just bolt-ons... HELP!!

IMO, 6700 rpm's is asking for trouble with a centrifugal blower! I have a Vortech V2 (standard, not the HO). At 6,000 rpm's it's making about 9.5 lbs of boost, but at my 6,400 rpm shift points it's up to 11.5 lbs of boost. I thought about raising my shift points up to 6,600 or 6,800 rpm's, but just know I'd be at 13-14 lbs of boost by then and I still have the factory engine.

Yeah..thats what I was wondering-Vortech said that 6,700 is 100% safe IF I ALWAYS RUN 93 OR BETTER, WHICH IS A NO-BRAINER, AND THE CAR GETS A VERY GOOD DYNO TUNE W/ THE REV-LIMITER THAT HIGH ALL THROUGHOUT THE TUNING TO TUNE IT FOR THE HIGHER BOOST THAT THE HIGHER REVS WILL PRODUCE!!... I think it sounds good and as long as the tuner is good I think I should be o.k.... Now I just gotta find a tuner within a few hours of here that I can trust...

But...if U filled up w/ 100 octane or better race gas and upped your shift points to 6,600 or 6,700 you should be totally safe...and really... you are noticing that much more boost between 6,000 and 6,400 rpms....thats alot... but doesnt the supercharger eventually max out w/ each pully size? Like, does that really mean w/ a 3.60 pulley (thats whats on mine) Vortech says its an 11lb pulley...but if I rev (theoretically) to 7,000 instead of 6,000 it 12 or more lbs?! So when I build my livernois stroker motor that will be shifter @ 7,000 I will actually be making a lot more boost that comes with the engine spinning faster?!
